Story of Abhay’s confidential helmet

Okay, you know right, Abhay…?? Yeah, Abhay Deshpande my beloved friend. If you don’t remember here is a pic of him doing his legendary “V” or Victory.

Aero India 2011:

Well we had attended the Aero India 2011  with all the bling (hates myself for not writing the blog on Aero India). It was huge rush, the event was well organized, they had planned it well and executed it. Full marks for the organizers.

For parking there were different slots, everything was fully packed on the D day. So we parked our bikes at road side and went to the Aero show.

I noticed, Abhay kept his helmet on the bike handle, without locking the helmet. I asked why and what if someone takes it.

“Confidence hai re, koi nahi leta le” Abhay said.

After a mind blowing Aero India show, we came back to the parking lot, I was worried over Abhay’s helmet. And thank god, there it was. No one, took that.

“Confident hai re, no one will take that” said a grinning Abhay.

Koramangala stint:

Last week I and Abhay decided to meet to catch up with the things at each other’s end. So we planned up to meet at Koramangala for a night out stint. We parked our bikes behind the Robert Bosch building, yeah to save parking tickets and also that area is pretty safe I guess.

Abhay again kept the helmet on bike handle without locking it,  again I asked.

Mohsin: “Helmet le re…”

Abhay:   “Confidence hai re, koi nahi leta le.”

Then we went for Jimi’s B cafe, later Enigma, had dinner at Paramount hotel, so it was around 2 AM, we decided to go to room.

A normal weekend with 2 lafda’s in 2 days: normal weekend.

This happened for me n friends a weekend of last month; let me share this with you.

P.S: Dude, read both the incidents, for me it was a power packed weekend. This is bit lengthy so…

Friday night:

As usual, we had our dinner at home, (new home, I moved in with avi, lenin and ramesh this month) and Abhay joined us for the tea at santhekatte around 11.30 p.m. Satish n Chetan we miss you lot.

We were on high spirits while walking towards tea stall. We were talking on random topics like dogs, mobiles, dressing styles, office stuff and especially pottiya’s. Reached santhekatte stop, and the boyz started smoke. These days boyz smoke to create clouds so that it will rain in Udupi, nice concept na..?? Hey dude, is this concept called as cloud computing or something…?

At the tea stall there were around 12 local boys of a group (full drunk n with 5 to 6 bikes). Those boys had good physique man, everyone were builders. Lets call these as “F group”.

As usual we were in our own world, discussing bout iPhone features and that beer app. suddenly a guy from “F group” group yelled us at to SHUT UP. We were confused, and I was like “What’s wrong with him..??”

Two guys approached us and started to bully us. In that one guy came to me (yuck, he was full tull dude… pakad ke marne ka tha saale ko) and came upon me as if he is gonna beat me… Avi stood beside me. And started to ask bout our where abouts. I was like “ja ne be… kyon dimaag kha raha hai’.

One guy asked us bout our hometown, avi said he is from Shimoga. That guy, “Chai kudiyoke Shimoga inda udupi ke bandiya..??” (To drink you came from shimoga to Udupi) and every one started to make fun.

Seeing the trouble, Lenin went aside mimicking as he got a call. Thank god, if Lenin had stayed with us they would have ragged him well as he was from Manipur. Mr. Abhay as usual was calm and stood beside (“that was cool’”)

During that time, another guy started to bully Ramesh and went to hold him. Avi was getting angrier by every second as we stood there. Looking at ramesh n others I protested like what’s wrong..?? I spoke… Avi was like “Now what..??”

Then they asked our id proof..??? I was like ID proof to a bunch of freaking guys who are completely drunk.. “Get lost buddy, what do you think you are a damn cop or a security guard..??”. One guy kept his hand on ma chest n avi spoke him and diverted his attention to another guy. Later sometime they got cozy with us and they were said they did for “Gammat… (For fun)”.

Satish’s proposal: Read until the end…

This post is regarding the last weekend, it was my one of the best weekend. I just wanted to utilize my saturday as far as possible. I got up at 9 in the morning ( missed morning Namaz ), it was very early for me because usually on weekends I get up at 2.

Before Khushi for breakfast, I visited Chetan’s room to check if anyone has got up. Thank god, Chetan was awake as he was going to office. We had breakfast at khushi, and I decided to go to net and create blog(had planned so many months before).

After breakfast, Chetan started to tempt for playing pool. I avoided as much as possible, later finally went for pool ( as elders say always follow your heart.. ). Kya kare, dost log hamesha bigadte hai.. It was a LP match and guess what I won the 1st match due to Chetan’s lost his form. (P.S: I just started to play 2 days before). And second match he beat me ruthlessly. Finally captain came to his form.

At Chetan’s room saw Nadal’s semi-final match with Simon Gilles, where Nadal lost the match in a Tie Breaker. Shit, such a nerve wrecking match if I was in Nadal’s or Simon’s position I would have lost my senses. Chetan started to tease me for Nadal losing the match, and he started to boost Roger Federer. ( Next day we came to know Federer lost the match to Andy Murray, Chetan abhi bol ba..)

We saw F1, Chinese Grand Prix qualifying lap, in which Hamilton outclassed Kimi and Massa, but I was happy for Kimi’s performance. Kimi did his best in this season but as usual due to his bad luck he lost couple of races. I am sure next year Kimi will bounce back. Kimi rock’s.. !!!
